Bayern maintain Bundesliga lead

Bayern Munich opened up a gap at the top of the Bundesliga with a second victory over Augsburg on Saturday.
Defending champions Bayern followed up their 3-1 win over Augsburg in the DFB-Pokal in midweek with another 3-1 win over their Bavarian rivals in the Bundesliga.
Robert Lewandowski scored twice and set one up for Arjen Robben, with Koo Ja-cheol grabbing Augsburg’s consolation.
Their lead at the top remains just two points, though, as Leipzig extended their own unbeaten start to the season with a 2-0 win at Darmstadt.
Marcel Sabitzer netted both goals for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men, who moved four points clear of third-placed Hertha Berlin, who can narrow the gap again on Sunday.
