EPL Table: 2016 Standings After Saturday’s Week 10 Results and Top Scorers

After recent talks of a crisis, Manchester City sent a message to their Premier League title rivals through a thumping 4-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.

Pep Guardiola’s men had gone six games without a win in all competitions, but Sergio Aguero netted a brace and Ilkay Gundogan chipped in with a double of his own to stop the rot.

Aguero’s two goals sent him to the top of the scoring charts alongside Chelsea’s Diego Costa, while Manchester City held their place at the Premier League’s summit, as we see below:

Level on points with Manchester City at the top are Arsenal and Liverpool, who both also chalked up four-goal hauls on Saturday.

The Gunners took on struggling Sunderland in the day’s early kick-off, and even though Jermain Defoe cancelled out Alexis Sanchez’s opener midway through the second half, Arsene Wenger’s men regained their composure to run out 4-1 winners.

Olivier Giroud came off the substitute’s bench to devastating effect by netting two well-taken goals, before Sanchez added his second of the match moments later. Journalist and Arsenal fan Piers Morgan was one of many praising the two frontmen after the match:
