CHICAGO — In World Series Game 4 on Saturday night, the Cubs scored first — and history says that’s a very good thing for Chicago. Not only has the team that scored first won each of the first three World Series games, it is 14-0 dating back to the start of the League Championship Series this October.
But reality might say something different. Moments after Anthony Rizzo put the Cubs in early position to make it 15-for-15 with an RBI single in the first, the Indians scored twice to take a 2-1 lead in the top of the second.
