Mittens took a giant step forward to provide leading Irish jockey Pat Smullen with a rare winner at Lingfield in the 32Red Casino/British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.
Having finished last on her debut at Newmarket earlier this month, the Sir Michael Stoute-trained two-year-old put in a vastly improved performance in the seven-furlong event.
