HowardSant-Roos Cuba Howard Sant-Roos (200-F-91) put on an amazing game in the last round for CEZ Nymburk and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2.The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Ironi Nahariya (0-2) 78-66. It’s just the very beginning of the season and CEZ Nymburk won both games without losing any. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team’s last game Sant-Roos had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 7 attempts. It’s his second year at CEZ Nymburk and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 27-year old American point guard Joe Ragland (182-PG-89) of Scandone AV. Ragland impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 16 points and 10 assists. It was enough for Scandone AV to edge Strasbourg (0-2) by 3 points 72-69. His team has extremely good start of the season. …
