Diogo Araujo 19-year old power forward Diogo Araujo (201-F/C-97) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league’s best team Dragon Force and receives a Eurobasket.com Proliga Player of the Week award for round 3.He had the game-high 25 points adding seven rebounds for Dragon Force in his team’s victory, helping them to beat Sanjoanense (#5, 1-2) 72-66. It allowed Dragon Force to consolidate first place in the Portuguese Proliga. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Dragon Force already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. In the team’s last game Araujo had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It’s his second year at Dragon Force and it’s hard to imagine this team without him.
