Perez slugs two big homers in Game 1

CLEVELAND — Indians catcher Roberto Perez fired a rocket shot into the left-field seats at Progressive Field on Tuesday night, causing uproar among Tribe faithful with a solo home run against Cubs ace Jon Lester in the fourth inning of Game 1 of the World Series, Perez’s second of this postseason.
Perez added a three-run shot in the eighth off Hector Rondon, and the Indians took a 6-0 victory and 1-0 Series lead.
