Lucas: We can win EFL Cup

Lucas Leiva believes Liverpool can go all the way in the EFL Cup after a much-changed Reds side beat Tottenham 2-1 at Anfield to reach the quarter-finals.
Daniel Sturridge struck twice for the home side as last year’s beaten finalists continued their excellent start to the season on Tuesday night.
“Last year we came very close, but we don’t have any European (games) this year and hopefully we can win all three competitions,” Lucas told Sky Sports.
“It was very good experience for (the young players), and they will develop. I think the manager showed the trust that he has in the squad and I think it was the right decision.”
