Craig Cunningham is going to move down to super-welterweight despite his stunning success over Anthony Ogogo.

The Birmingham southpaw upset the odds by stopping the middleweight star on a night of surprises on Saturday but admits he will be even better down at 147lbs.

Cunningham (17-1-KO4) has not ruled out at rematch with the Olympic bronze medalist, who was retired by the corner in the eighth due to a fractured eye socket, but is already looking at the likes of Brian Rose in the weight below.

“Super-welterweight was the plan from day one,” Cunningham told Sky Sports.
