‘Schweini belongs on the field’

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer believes Bastian Schweinsteiger is one of the world’s best midfielders, and has urged Manchester United to consider him for selection.
The 32-year-old has not been picked by Jose Mourinho this season, but Neuer reckons the former Germany captain is just the player United need right now.
“I really hope that Bastian gets some consideration soon,” Neuer said.
