This Wednesday is Jump For Pudsey day and double Olympic champion Max Whitlock wants you to get involved!
We’ve teamed up with Boots UK to launch Jump For Pudsey, encouraging the nation to get active and raise money for BBC Children in Need.
We’ve created a unique ‘Jump for Pudsey Challenge’ which will see people leaping, hopping, jumping and bouncing their way to draw attention to this great charity and help raise money to fund projects for disadvantaged children and young people right across the UK.Max Whitlock is fully behind the campaign and looking forward to seeing everyone get involved, we caught up with Max to find out more…
Max, what’s the reaction been like after your amazing Olympic experience?”The reaction has been incredible more than I could ever prepare for, in Rio it was a bit of a bubble and to come home was an amazing feeling. Not only have people said congratulations but also so many people are saying they have been inspired and want to try gymnastics which is very special.”Why did you decide to get involved in Boots UK’s Jump for Pudsey campaign to support BBC Children in Need?”I think the Jump for Pudsey campaign is a brilliant idea! It’s great to have a campaign that not only raises money for such an incredible charity but also help people keep fit whilst having fun. I’m sure lots of people will enjoy taking part and I know lots of gymnasts will be taking part and challenging each other to raise as much money as possible. British Gymnastics has created a range of five jump challenges that kids and adults can do at home, so all people need to do is check these out and get jumping! Once …
