Sweden – Kouagnia’s double-double lands him Basketettan Player of the Week award

FranckKouagnia 27-year old forward Franck Kouagnia (201-F-89) had a very impressive game in the last round for Eskilstuna and receives a Eurobasket.com Basketettan Player of the Week award for round 5.He had a double-double of 25 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat IK Eos (#7, 2-2) 88-82. Eskilstuna is placed at 4th position in their group in Swedish Basketettan. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost that single game earlier this season. Eskilstuna will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. It’s Kouagnia’s second year at Eskilstuna and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Kouagnia has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in rebounds (7th best: 10.0rpg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 57.5% FGP.Second best performed player last round was Kasper Hagberg (185-G-98) of Lobas. He is a guard in his first season at Lobas. In the last game Hagberg recorded impressive 32 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists.
