Gavin Ware American Gavin Ware (206-C/F-93) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Antwerp, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5.The 23-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Spirou (#10, 1-4) 92-82. It allowed Antwerp to consolidate first place in the Belgian Scooore League. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Antwerp already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. Ware turned to be Antwerp’s top player in his first season with the team. Gavin Ware averages this season 14.8ppg and 5.8rpg. The second best player in last round’s games was young American Daniel Jansen (206-F-94) of Limburg United. Jansen had a very good evening with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Limburg United lost that game 79-105 to the higher-ranked Aalstar (#2, 4-1). This …
