Turkey – Brown number one in Turkish TBL for round 5

BrandonBrown American Power forward Brandon Brown (201-PF-85) had a very impressive game in the last round for top-ranked Istanbulspor, receiving a Eurobasket.com TBL Player of the Week award for round 5.The 31-year old player had a double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Mugla Orman (#18, 0-5), the league’s bottom-ranked team 64-58. It allowed Istanbulspor to consolidate first place in the Turkish TBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Istanbulspor already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team’s last game Brown had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be Istanbulspor’s top player in his first season with the team. Former Cal State – San Bernardino star has very solid stats this year. Brown is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 22.8ppg), rebounds (6th best: 11.8rpg) and averages impressive 2.4bpg,2.4spg and 64.4% FGP.
