Lester gets Game 1 starting assignment for Cubs

CLEVELAND — Jon Lester, the co-Most Valuable Player of the National League Championship Series, will start Tuesday for the Cubs in Game 1 of the World Series against the Indians.
The left-hander is 3-0 with a 0.43 ERA in three career World Series starts, including two wins in 2013 for the Red Sox against the Cardinals. He started Game 1 of that series as well.
