2017 NFL Mock Draft: 1st-Round Predictions for Top Prospects After Week 7

We’re almost halfway through the NFL season, but the 2017 NFL draft order remains a jumbled mess. Very few teams have separated themselves to the top or bottom of the standings, creating a draft order that is changing dramatically from week to week.
The order used for the mock draft below is accurate entering Monday Night Football, using the full-season strength of schedule as a tiebreaker for teams with the same record.
As for the prospects, there is a little more clarity. Multiple prospects are having strong seasons and have established themselves as likely first-round selections. A few of these notable prospects have been highlighted below:
3. Chicago Bears: Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina
North Carolina Tar Heels quarterback Mitch Trubisky might be the hottest prospect in the nation right now.
Big things were expected of Trubisky, the sixth-ranked dual-threat quarterback in 247Sports’ composite rankings in 2013. However, he wasn’t expected to be this dominant in his first year as the Tar Heels starter.
