Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Jack Wilshere and Jose Gimenez

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp believes Jack Wilshere’s Arsenal career is over, as the England international must realise he has to leave the Gunners permanently to be successful. Meanwhile, Manchester United will reportedly rival the club for Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez.
As reported by Sky Sports (h/t the Sun’s Toby Gannon), Redknapp said Wilshere’s best chance of making it back into the England national team would be away from the Emirates Stadium, a place where he has grown far too comfortable:
I don’t see a future at Arsenal any more, I think now he will realise he has got to get away from Arsenal.
It’s too comfortable for him there. He is not going to get into the team at Arsenal regularly.
If he makes that move he can show what he is all about. No disrespect, I think he’s a step above Bournemouth, but I think it’s a great thing for him to do. He’s really putting himself out there.
Wilshere moved to Bournemouth on loan after several disappointing and injury-filled seasons with the Gunners and has been a standout for the Cherries. He flashed all of the talent that made him such an intriguing youngster all those years ago in the 0-0 draw against Tottenham Hotspur, his parent club’s main rivals.
