Manila, Philippines, October 23, 2016 – Eczasibasi VitrA Istanbul outlasted Pomi Casalmaggiore 3-2 (25-19, 20-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-11) to become the first team in history to claim the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship for the second time, after successfuly defending their title at the Mall of Asia Arena in the Philippines capital.It was the first time in history that a Women’s Club World Championship was decided in five sets.
