Koeman: Everton deserved to win

Ronald Koeman insisted his Everton side deserved to win at Burnley after seeing them suffer a 2-1 defeat at Turf Moor instead.
The Merseysiders dominated for large spells of the game but fell behind when Sam Vokes exploited Maarten Stekelenburg’s mistake six minutes before half-time.
Everton responded well and dictated as Yannick Bolasie drew them level, only for Scott Arfield to get Burnley’s winner in stoppage time.
That left Koeman bemused at how his side did not take more from the match and he said: “I’m very disappointed because [we should have had] one point, at least one point today.
