WWE Main Event Recap: Zack Ryder Gets A Win, Tyler Breeze, American Alpha Vs. The Ascension

The Main Event opening video kicks off the show after the usual WWE signature. Zach Ryder (w/Mojo Rawley) and Tyler Breeze (w/Fandango) make their entrances as Tom Philips and David Otunga check in on commentary. Aiden English is also on commentary. It should be noted that the Main Event opening video has featured stars from both SmackDown Live and RAW for the last month or so, and Tom Philips seems to associate himself with the RAW brand.
Tyler Breeze (w/Fandango) vs. Zach Ryder (w/Mojo Rawley)
Breeze locks in a headlock on Ryder. Ryder pushes Breeze to the ropes. Breeze hits a shoulder block on Ryder. Breeze kicks Ryder. Ryder dropkicks Breeze. Breeze rolls out of the ring. Ryder hits a dropkick to the outside on Breeze. Ryder rolls Breeze back into the ring. As Ryder gets onto the apron, Breeze connects with a kick to the head. Breeze hits a backdrop on Ryder before pinning him for a two count. Breeze briefly locks in a face lock on Ryder. Breeze backs Ryder into the corner. Breeze drives his shoulder into Ryder several times. Breeze elbows Ryder in the face. Breeze pins Ryder for another two count. Breeze locks in a face lock on Ryder. Breeze strikes Ryder with his knee. Ryder hits a flapjack on Breeze. Ryder clotheslines Breeze. Ryder connects with a missile dropkick off the second rope on Breeze. Ryder hits the Broski Boot on Breeze. Fandango briefly gets on the apron. Rawley chases Fandango to the back as Breeze rolls up Ryder for a two count. Ryder hits the Rough Ryder on Breeze before pinning him for the win.
