Timbawala replaces injured Santhanam in USA squad

Batsman Ravi Timbawala has been confirmed as a replacement for allrounder Srini Santhanam in USA’s squad for ICC WCL Division Four beginning October 29. Santhanam was injured during the Auty Cup last weekend against Canada, suffering a recurrence of the right shoulder injury that has plagued him for the last three years.
Santhanam, 32, initially injured his shoulder last month at USA’s five-day national camp in Indianapolis but was declared fit and picked in USA’s squad for both the Auty Cup and WCL Division Four.
