Jarrett Jack Waived by Hawks: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

The Atlanta Hawks waived point guard Jarrett Jack Thursday, who is still recovering from a knee injury that kept him out most of last season.
Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported the transaction, reducing the team’s roster to 17 players as the regular season approaches.
Jack signed a one-year deal for the veteran minimum in June, but he was not expected to be ready by the start of the season, per Vivlamore.
The 32-year-old player said of his rehabilitation:
We are actively progressing. I can tell you me knee feels 100 times better this month than it did last month. Coach and (the staff) are on me about rushing …
