Cubs strike with 4-run 4th (Live, FS1)
- Updated: October 20, 2016
LOS ANGELES — With a bunt, a bloop and a blast in the fourth, the Cubs snapped a 21-inning scoreless streak to grab a 4-0 lead over the Dodgers in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium.
Held hitless through three innings by 20-year-old rookie Julio Urias, the youngest pitcher to start a postseason game, the Cubs generated their first bit of offensive momentum in four days with a leadoff bunt single by Ben Zobrist. Zobrist moved to second when Javier Baez poked a single to left and then scored on Willson Contreras’ subsequent two-strike single.
