Rodgers backs Toure after defeat

Brendan Rodgers has backed Kolo Toure to bounce back after his mistakes proved costly in Celtic’s 2-0 defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach.
The 35-year-old former Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool player was caught by striker Andre Hahn trying to shepherd the ball out of play in the 57th minute which led to captain Lars Stindl driving in the opener for the visitors.
And when he lost possession in the 77th minute, Hahn was able to race away and slam in number two to leave the Hoops at the bottom of their Champions League group with one point from three games.
Rodgers believes Toure will be ready to go again in the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Rangers at Hampden Park on Sunday.
