Melesina strikes for Fahey

Melesina struck gold on her eighth start when taking Group Three honours in the Prix des Reservoirs at Deauville.
The Richard Fahey-trained filly, owned by Nick Bradley Racing, battled past long-time leader Turf Laurel to score by a length and a quarter.
Harry Dunlop’s Assanilka, the other British-trained challenger, was fifth of the eight runners.
