Sky Bet League One leaders Scunthorpe saw their eight-game unbeaten streak come to an end with a 2-0 defeat to Oldham at Boundary Park.

Two goals inside the final three minutes of the first half paved the way for the Latics to finally claim a first home win of the season.

Freddie Ladapo found the bottom corner from the edge of the box before Lee Erwin added a second following some fine play.

Bradford failed to capitalise as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Southend. Marc McNulty raced on to Haris Vuckic’s through ball to register his first goal for the club in the 36th minute.

But Anthony Wordsworth headed in an equaliser nine minutes into the second half, although Bradford do remain unbeaten at Valley Parade.

Bolton moved level on points with Bradford in second place with a 2-0 victory at Millwall. Sammy Ameobi’s early strike from 25 yards – his first league goal for the club – and David Wheater’s late effort condemned Millwall to a fifth loss in six games.
