NLCS Game 3 starting lineups: Cubs vs. Dodgers
- Updated: October 18, 2016
LOS ANGELES — Cubs manager Joe Maddon said he was considering some lineup changes for today’s Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Dodgers, and he made a couple of tweaks. Ben Zobrist moved up to the No. 3 slot and Jorge Soler got his first playoff start, inserted into the sixth spot and playing right field instead of Jason Heyward.
The Dodgers started a lefty for the second straight game in former Cubs pitcher Rich Hill, who played in Chicago from 2005-08. Hill, who began the season in Oakland, was 3-2 with a 1.83 ERA in six starts for the Dodgers this year and 12-5 with a 2.12 ERA in 20 starts overall.
