AleksandrZakharov Aleksandr Zakharov (203-SF-93) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league’s leader Irkut and that’s him to receive a Eurobasket.com Superleague 1 Player of the Week award for round 3.The 23-year old had the game-high 22 points adding six rebounds and three assists for Irkut in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Ryazan (#6, 2-1) with 26-point margin 89-63. It allowed Irkut to consolidate first place in the Russia Superleague 1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Irkut already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Zakharov turned to be Irkut’s top player in his first season with the team.
