Jamie Carragher says the performance at Liverpool on Monday night wasn’t one he would expect from a Manchester United side, but believes nobody is going to change Jose Mourinho’s style of management.
United held Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield, with the away side registering just 35 per cent possession as they set out to stifle their opposition.
“That performance tonight I wouldn’t expect from a Manchester United team, especially in the second half with how defensive it was,” said Carragher on Monday Night Football. “But you’d expect it from a Jose Mourinho team.
