Leverkusen v Spurs preview

Tottenham will be without key defender Toby Alderweireld as they continue their Champions League campaign away at Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night.
Spurs started off their European adventure this season with a 2-1 home defeat by Monaco, but bounced back to win 1-0 at CSKA Moscow last time out.
However, manager Mauricio Pochettino believes that they can cope without Alderweireld. He said: “We believe it is not a big issue.
“Now we have to wait for the result of the scan, which he took this afternoon. Everyone else is okay. We are only missing Harry Kane.
“The next two games, here and Wembley, will decide the possibility to go to the next round. It’s important that we win.
“We want to go to the next round, so it’s key to take the three points, then to play at Wembley in the same way.”
