Arsenal Transfers News: Latest Rumours on Mauro Icardi and Yaya Sanogo

Arsenal’s chances of signing Mauro Icardi have reportedly been boosted following the Inter striker’s recent falling out with some sections of the club’s support. Meanwhile, Saint-Etienne are said to be interested in Yaya Sanogo.
The Gunners were linked with Inter captain Icardi over the summer, and the Sun (h/t Daily Star’s Colin Harvey) reported the release of his autobiography has worsened tensions between him and the San Siro fans.
In the book, Sempre Avanti, Icardi recalled a run-in with an Inter Ultra following defeat to Sassuolo last year, per the Sun’s Alvise Cagnazzo, before claiming he had “100 criminals from Argentina” watching out for him.
Such comments have caused a lot of friction between the Argentinian and Inter’s supporters, however, and Eurosport’s Siavoush Fallahi provided a look at the banner fans unveiled outside Icardi’s Milan home:
