Thomas vander Mars 26-year old center Thomas van der Mars (208-C-90) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Rapla and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3.He had a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds, while his team crushed Tarvas (#5, 1-2) with 23-point margin 90-67. Rapla is placed at 4th position in Estonia league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost that single game earlier this season. Rapla will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. van der Mars turned to be Rapla’s top player in his first season with the team.
