Ex-WWE Star, 14-Time MMA Veteran Alberto Rodriguez Named Combate Americas President

Former World Wrestling Entertainment champion and 14-fight MMA veteran Alberto Rodriguez — known as Alberto Del Rio during his sports entertainment tenure — will serve as president for Combate Americas.The promotion announced the news on Tuesday. According to a release, Rodriguez “will be actively involved in all aspects of athlete relations and development, from recruitment to enhancing their showmanship skills.” Combate Americas recent signed a deal to air its events exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
