Russian Jersey Marathon winner to be stripped of title

The winner of the 2016 Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon will be disqualified for being ineligible to compete.
The race on October 2 was won by Russian Aleksey Troshkin in a time of 2:18:28 – the third consecutive victory at the event for the 30-year-old who has a personal best of 2:16:40 from 2013 set in La Rochelle.
