Snitker officially named Braves manager

ATLANTA — There is no longer reason to use the interim tag when referring to Brian Snitker.
The Braves officially announced Snitker has been named their manager on Tuesday morning. The club also announced that Ron Washington has been named third-base coach and Chuck Hernandez has been named pitching coach. Former third-base coach Bo Porter will become a special assistant to the GM.
Washington and Bud Black were the other top candidates for the manager position.
