‘Henderson deserves armband’

Jordan Henderson deserves the chance to captain England in Tuesday’s World Cup Qualifier in Slovenia, says John Aldridge.
The Liverpool captain takes the armband from Wayne Rooney, who has been dropped to the bench by England interim boss Gareth Southgate.
And former Liverpool striker Aldridge believes Southgate’s decision to appoint midfielder Henderson is the right one.
