Shanghai Rolex Masters 2016: Tuesday Tennis Scores, Results and Updated Schedule

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic was made to work hard against Fabio Fognini at the 2016 Shanghai Rolex Masters on Tuesday but eventually prevailed 6-3, 6-3 over the Italian to book his place in the third round.
The Serbian was some way off his brilliant best and Fognini had his opportunities to force the match to a decider, but he made too many needless errors that Djokovic took full advantage of.
Elsewhere, David Goffin impressed as he came back from a set down to win his first-round match against the in-form Juan Martin del Potro, while Grigor Dimitrov beat 14th seed Richard Gasquet 6-4, 6-4.
