Slovenia – Miljkovic number one in Slovenia for round 1

MilosMiljkovic Serbian Milos Miljkovic (205-C/F-84) had an amazing evening in the last round for Zlatorog, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.The 32-year old player was the main contributor (17 points, five rebounds and three assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to crush Portoroz (#8, 0-1) with 25-point margin 93-68. Zlatorog is placed at 6th position in Slovenia Telemach League. But it’s just the very beginning of the season and Zlatorog won just one (their first) game. It’s too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team’s last game Miljkovic had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Zlatorog’s top player in his first season with the team. The second best player in last round’s games was young American Khaliq Spicer (206-C-94, agency: Court Side) of Tajfun. Spicer had a very good evening with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Tajfun lost that game 54-85 to Helios (1-0). The season is …
