Tebow slated to make AFL debut on Tuesday

Mets prospect Tim Tebow is expected to be in the starting lineup for the Scottsdale Scorpions on Tuesday, the first day of the Arizona Fall League.
Scottsdale plays on the road against the Glendale Desert Dogs at 3:35 p.m. ET in the first game of the AFL schedule. Mets first-base coach Tom Goodwin will manage Scottsdale.
Tebow is scheduled to be in Arizona each week from Monday though Thursday, with the Mets granting permission for Tebow to work as a college football analyst with the SEC Network on Fridays and Saturdays. Sundays are off days …
