SAN FRANCISCO — Jorge Soler will start in left field and Ben Zobrist will move to right for the Cubs in Game 3 of the National League Division Series (tonight, 9:30 ET/8:30 CT/6:30 PT on FS1) against the Giants and lefty Madison Bumgarner at AT&T Park.
Miguel Montero will catch Jake Arrieta, and the Cubs now join the 1915 Red Sox, the ’27 Yankees, the ’98 Padres and the 2002 D-backs as the only teams to start three catchers in a postseason series. David Ross caught Game 1 and rookie Willson Contreras was behind the plate in Game 2.
