Dodgers’ G4 starter hinges on G3 outcome

LOS ANGELES — Dodgers manager Dave Roberts on Monday still hedged on pitching plans for Tuesday’s Game 4 of the National League Division Series against the Nationals, which he indicated would be decided after Game 3.
Julio Urias is the listed probable starter if the Dodgers win Monday’s Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five series, but Clayton Kershaw will most likely get the ball if the Dodgers lose on Monday and face elimination in Game 4 (5 or 8 p.m. ET/2 or 5 p.m. PT on FS1).
“We know that Julio right now is scheduled to start regardless, but after today, there’s no absolutes, we can change, and we do have Kershaw available,” said Roberts.
