• In Toronto, the Blue Jays finished off the Rangers in the American League Division Series with a 7-6 win in Game 3 to advance to the AL Championship Series (Game 1, Friday night in Boston or Cleveland on TBS for U.S. viewers, as well as Sportsnet and RDS in Canada). After winning the 2016 AL Wild Card Game in walk-off fashion (on Edwin Encarnacion’s three-run home run), Toronto used another walk-off victory (Josh Donaldson scoring on an errant throw) to move on to the next round.
