Boots UK is partnering with British Gymnastics to launch its new Jump for Pudsey campaign to help inspire the nation to get more active and support disadvantaged children across the UK
In a bid to get the nation moving and being more active, Boots UK is challenging children and their families to do one million jumps for Pudsey; turning jumps in to pounds to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
This brand new, energetic and exciting national fundraising campaign is launching in Boots stores 22 – 29 October 2016, with its main ‘Jump Day’ on Wednesday 26 October. During the week, Boots UK will invite children and families across the country to do as many jumps as possible at organised in-store events, at home, or with their friends, and track the progress of their challenge through the online Jump Totaliser.
Helping reach the one million jumps will be thousands of gymnasts from up and down the country, who are staging Jump for Pudsey challenges through British Gymnastics registered clubs and leisure centres.
The funds raised through Jump for Pudsey will help BBC Children in Need fund projects which support disadvantaged children and young people in the UK, including a number focusing on improvements to physical wellbeing. This is the thirteenth year that Boots UK has been a charity partner for BBC Children in Need, which last year alone helped tens of thousands of disadvantaged children and young people through health and sport programmes.
