Ortiz to top huge Monaco bill

Heavyweight star Luis Ortiz will top the bill on a night that sees Jamie McDonnell and Stephen Smith in world title fights and Martin Murray looking for revenge in Monte Carlo next month, live on Sky Sports.
Ortiz, nicknamed ‘King Kong’, tackles Malik Scott in his first fight as a Matchroom fighter at the Salle des Etoiles, Monte Carlo, on November 12.
McDonnell will make the fifth defence of his WBA bantamweight world title against Liborio Solis.
Smith will get a second chance to be crowned super-featherweight world champion as he challenges WBA holder Jason Sosa, while Murray will go in against Arthur Abraham, after losing a controversial split decision when he challenged the former WBO super-middleweight holder last November.
“It is an absolute honour to bring this huge night of world championship boxing to Monaco,” said promoter Eddie Hearn.
