Pair of Rangers’ leads quickly erased in Game 3
- Updated: October 10, 2016
TORONTO — The Rangers had two leads in three games in the American League Division Series — one that lasted about 10 minutes, and the other that ended up with, time-wise, about the same level of staying power.
The Rangers were swept by the Blue Jays in Game 3 on Sunday night, but offensively in that deciding contest, they performed better than they did in the first two. Though the Blue Jays got off to a roaring start, scoring five runs in the first three frames, the Rangers didn’t let up, and eventually, caught up in an eventual 7-6 loss in 10 innings.
