Cam Heyward Injury: Updates on Steelers Star’s Hamstring and Return

Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cameron Heyward suffered an injury to his left hamstring against the New York Jets in Week 5. His official playing status for Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins has yet to be announced.

The Steelers announced that Heyward was unable to return against New York on Sunday after being initially listed as questionable to return.
Steelers Need Heyward Healthy for Playoff Push
The 27-year-old lineman has come into his own since assuming a starting role in 2013, and he has been a key performer for Pittsburgh’s defense again so far this season with 16 combined tackles and three sacks entering Week 5. He had one total tackle against the Jets before exiting due to the injury.
