Alcantara (33-7, 8-4 UFC) drew the curtain 1:59 into round one. Pickett (25-12, 5-7 UFC) never stood a chance. Alcantara, 36, floored him with a spinning back elbow and left hook before bludgeoning him with ground-and-pound. Elbows, forearm strikes and hammerfists were all on the menu. Alcantara then climbed to full mount, framed a triangle choke and transitioned to the armbar. Pickett defended, only to find himself hopelessly entangled in another triangle. It was an exquisite sequence from the Brazilian and netted the desired tapout.Stasiak Armbar Taps Grant M-1 Global veteran Damian Stasiak submitted “The Ultimate Fighter 18” finalist Davey Grant with an armbar in the third round of their undercard pairing at 135 pounds. His left arm bent at a grotesque angle, Grant (10-3, 1-2 UFC) conceded defeat 3:56 into round three. Stasiak (10-3, 2-1 UFC) neutralized the Englishman with takedowns and top control. Grant enjoyed some success in the second round, as he rattled the Pole with a series of knees and punches to the head and body. Stasiak withstood the assault, dragged the fight deeper and made his move. They traded takedowns in the third round before Grant settled in top position.
