Chelsea Transfer News: Latest on Eden Hazard and Michael Keane Rumours
- Updated: October 9, 2016
Eden Hazard is prepared to leave Chelsea at the end of the season if the Blues fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb (h/t Dan Gibbs of the Express) reported the Belgium international could become a target for Juventus as the Old Lady attempt to add a superstar to their squad in Turin.
However, the midfield wizard has spoken of his contentment under new Blues manager Antonio Conte, proclaiming the Italian has put his “trust” in the squad after a poor season last term.
According to Paul McNamara of MailOnline, Hazard said: “Conte puts trust in his players, and now we are good after an ugly season last year. I’ve always been the same player, but Conte knows how to treat players having played at the highest level himself.”
There’s been an improvement in Hazard’s numbers this season, but his performances have remained hit-or-miss after an encouraging start to the campaign.
The 25-year-old has scored twice in seven Premier League games, according to WhoScored.com, but has displayed better form in the shirt of his country in recent times.
Bleacher Report UK highlighted the talent’s start this term, compared to 12 months previous:
