LaRoche to throw out 1st pitch before Game 2
- Updated: October 8, 2016
WASHINGTON — After Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Nationals and Dodgers was postponed because of rain, former Washington first baseman Adam LaRoche and his son, Drake, paid a visit to the Nationals’ locker room. They’ll be back at Nationals Park on Sunday in a more visible capacity.
LaRoche is scheduled to throw out the first pitch to his son before Game 2 starts at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT, FS1) on Sunday. LaRoche was an integral part of the team’s division titles in 2012 and ’14 before signing with the White Sox entering the 2015 season.
