Evan Mathis Injury: Updates on Cardinals Guard’s Ankle and Recovery

Arizona Cardinals guard Evan Mathis suffered an ankle injury during Thursday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers in a season in which he already has dealt with knocks to his toe and foot.
On Saturday, Darren Urban of the team’s official website reported that he was placed on injured reserve and that his ankle will sideline him for the remainder of the season.
